It's amazing how small things can make your day. Really small things like an email or a phone call. Now that would not be the random wrong number phone call I got this morning while enjoying breakfast out with the DH, but the one from Younger Daughter a few minutes ago as she attended her last class. She is enjoying - well plodding - through her first semester of school in a long time. Like Older Daughter, she decided a degree is the thing if she wants to potentially earn more money and move up from her bottom of the rung position in the marketing firm she works for. The good news is she thinks she made the Dean's list and the better news is that she has a real good shot at a scholarship and the best news is that we will see her in 17 days.
In the meantime, Older Daughter is experiencing the most stressful two weeks of her college career, the two weeks prior to graduation. Have I said lately just how amazing these two girls are? They. Are. Truly. Amazing!
Good work ladies!
Oh - and Red Stag is not Harry Potter's Patronus, but a new small batch bourbon from Jim Beam! Can't wait to try it.
