No, I didn't get an invite to try this program. Probably because I didn't want to kick out $$$ to "join." Also, by reading the Cricut Craft Room page on facebook, I discovered it isn't even going to be compatible with Provo Craft's previous program Cricut Design Studio. Which means if you concocted something in that program you will have to manually convert each file.
So I had to comment.
I said: Shouldn't their new program be compatible with their previous program? Just sayin'!
Cricut Craft Room: When a company plans to discontinue or stop development on a product, they don't keep developing to keep the older product compatible. It's just a fact of life in the software world.
I disagree and I told them so.

Good for you for commenting to them! Yes, software companies DO improve upon the old to bring in the new! Take a look at Adobe, for example.....

You would think at least they would develop a side program that would convert any work one already did in Design Studio. They may redeem themselves if they allow you to design or import images like SCAL2 does.
