Five Years in the Making

One of the by-products of being a mom is letting go of your children, and letting them be who they are. That may of course, lead to children moving out of state. That is the course Older Daughter took, until two years ago when she moved to the small Tennessee town we had planned on retiring to and finishing up her bachelor's degree.

So over the last five years, I've not had a mother's day with both daughters simultaneously. Amazing, huh? Well, finally we were all together again today for the best mother's day I've had in a long time.
